It is against Hair Masters Design policy to perform services on clients with head lice,if are bringing your child for a hair cut it is your responsibility to make sure you do not have head lice.
If headlice is found the stylist will politely have to refuse service but you may be charged for appointment.

Keratin Blowdry
What is a keratin blowdry?
A keratin blowdry heals damaged and dry hair – whether your hair is weakened by lightening, dyeing, or you have dry hair by nature, keratin treatment will ensure maximum regeneration and repair.
It adds a dazzling shine – due to chemical processes and polluted air, our hair loses its natural shine and strength. Keratin treatment enhances the colour and makes hair dazzlingly shiny.
Removes frizz – if your hair is frizzy and you try to tame it with a flat iron or a hair dryer every day, keratin is an absolute must for you. No more hair damage due to high temperatures.
It speeds up blow-drying – keratin treatment makes it easier to style and dry your hair. Instead of long blow-drying and complicated styling.
It combines natural keratin protein (which rebuilds, restores and nourishes the hair) with a rich content of natural ingredients (mostly cocoa extract) to eliminate defects and strengthen the hair structure from a molecular level. Cocochoco Original contains organic ingredients, mineral silicone and pure keratin. It penetrates deep into the hair fibre to leave a long lasting, smooth hair effect, keratin can pull out tight curls making it partly straighter.

Can I wear a ponytail or tie my hair?
No, only after the hair has had it's first wash.
What should I do if my hair gets wet during the first 3 days or before the first wash?
Blow dry and re-straighten immediately.
Can I go into the pool or ocean after the treatment?
Only after the first wash.
Can I do the treatment while pregnant or nursing?
It is not recommended by the Health Department.
If I get any ridges in my hair when I sleep, what should I do?
Use either a blow dryer or flat iron to straighten out the ridge in the hair.
What is a Keratin Straightening Treatment?
The Cocochoco line of keratin straightening products consists of advanced, in-salon treatments that restore and restructure the hair by infusing a special blend of hydrolyzed keratin deep into the cuticle. The hydrolyzed keratin is bonded to the cuticle with heat from a flat iron to relax the hair’s subcuticular layer, resulting in renewed smoothness and shine.
How much time should be allowed for each client?
Time should be determined on an individual basis. Cocochoco recommends an initial consultation with each client to determine hair length, type and texture. As a general rule, please allow a two to three-hour window for the keratin treatment.
What results can be expected after the Keratin Straightening Treatment?
The hair will become more manageable, easier to style, and resistant to humidity. It will feel noticeably softer and silkier, with added life & shine.
What kind of shampoo and conditioner should be used to maintain the treatment?
Only sulphate-free shampoo & conditioner should be used.
What should I do to maintain my treatment results?
The best way to maintain your treatment results is with a couple of simple lifestyle adjustments. Minimise the hair’s exposure to chlorine and other harsh chemicals, as well as sodium/sulphate found in the ocean, salt water pools, water softener and human perspiration.
After care:
MUST wash hair in 72 hours after. (no earlier or longer then this)
Do not tie hair up during the next 72 hours
If you do get your hair wet you must dry and straighten over the hair and report to salon for advice, this may affect the outcome.

Hair can be washed 24 hours after application with a sulphate free shampoo and this must be used for all future washes, the treatment lasts from 3-5 months depending on hair type.
After care:
Do not tie hair up during the next 24 hours
If you do get your hair wet you must dry and straighten over the hair and report to salon for advice, this may affect the outcome.
Must wash hair 24 hours after WITH a sulphate free shampoo and continuing using it.

Cancellation Policy
As a small business we hope you understand that we need to protect our business so we will be asking for a 25% holding fee to secure your booking, you will pay the remainder in salon with cash or card.
For appointments over 2 hours we require 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule and for appointments under 2 hours we require 24 hours notice cancel or reschedule,Should you cancel without giving us this notice then you may be charged 100% off the bill.
If you're substantially late and the appointment can no longer be done within the time allocated then you may be charged as a no-show. If don’t show up on the day of your appointment you will be charged 100% of the bill.
We are closed on a Sunday & Monday so if you need to contact us via your appointment during closing hours you must email and text us back on the same number you get your confirmation message, as we will not be able to answer the phone during closing hours.
